Red Lobster Seaside Mix and Match Entree Selections #ad #spon

My family really enjoys going out to eat and one of our favorite restaurants to visit is Red Lobster.  I have been enjoying the wonderful food that Red Lobster serves for many, many years. One of my first experiences with Red Lobster was when I lived in Florida many moons ago.  The lady that I worked for at the time used to treat her employees to lunches out and Red Lobster was our go to lunch spot. We always found that it was easy to order and get out quickly during our lunch hour.

Nowadays, my family and I mainly visit during dinnertime.  I was extremely thrilled when Darden Restaurants asked me to do a review of Red Lobster and their Seaside Mix and Match Entree Selections.

Upon our arrival at our local Red Lobster, there was about a five minute wait before we were whisked off to our table. My children enjoy looking at the lobster tank. Shortly after we were seated and our waitress took our drink order, the wonderful coveted Cheddar Bay Biscuits arrived. These biscuits are so special that their name is trademarked.  They arrived to our table freshly baked and hot.

While we were looking at the menu and trying to make our decision about what we were going to choose for dinner, we decided to order the Golden Onion Rings as an appetizer. The onion rings are served with spicy dipping sauce. They were fried to a golden brown and were perfect!

Are you hungry yet? Get ready for the finale.  From the Seaside Mix and Match selections, I decided to order the Shrimp and Scallops Linguini, which has fresh tomatoes, basil and a white wine-lemon sauce and the Garlic Shrimp Scampi in a buttery garlic sauce. I chose broccoli as my side item. This entree also came with a garden salad.  Now let me tell you this entree alone is a lot of food, but add in the salad and more biscuits to the meal, that really makes a lot of food.

Let me tell you this meal was very tasty. The Shrimp and Scallops Linguini was  prepared with just the right amount of lemon in the sauce and the linguini was cooked to perfection. The Shrimp Scampi had just the right amount of garlic in the sauce and the shrimp were cooked just the way that I like them.

After this meal, no dessert was needed as I was completely full from this wonderful meal.  Although, I would have loved to try one of their tempting desserts, my stomach was telling me it was time to stop.  If you have not had a chance to try Red Lobster's Seaside Mix and Match Entree Selections, I think it would be meal that you will really enjoy.  There are other selections on the menu that you can mix and match, like the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Shrimp-&-Lobster Pot Pie, Crunchy Parmesan Ranch Shrimp, Tropical BBQ Glaze Chicken, Hand-Breaded Shrimp, and the Garlic-Grilled Shrimp.  Not to mention, all of the other yummy selections that can made from the menu.

I would like to thank Darden Restaurants and Red Lobster for allowing me to try the new Seaside Mix and Match Entree Selections, they are simply delicious!

Cheers!
