Aurorae Yoga Crossbody Sling Backpack #Review

I recently have began taking some Yoga classes at a local studio and have been lugging my mat and other personal belongings in an old tote that I have had for many years. The mat would not stay in the bag, constantly flopping out, so most of the time I would just carry it under my arm. I recently have had the opportunity to connect with the wonderful folks at Aurorae Yoga. Aurorae Yoga has been generous enough to allow me to review several of their products, one which is their Crossbody Sling Backpack.  Before I move on to the review, I would like to share a little information about the owner of Aurorae Yoga, Dennis Ingui. Here is his statement from the Aurorae Yoga website:

I started this yoga company from the passion I developed for yoga over the past ten years. Being a cancer survivor since 2001, I needed an outlet in my life to help build my body as well as develop inner peace for my mind. Yoga has helped accomplish both of these goals for me while also making many new friends and energizing me with a positive and balanced attitude toward life. I'm not an instructor or a yogi, just a dedicated student that has enriched his life through yoga and understands what a regular everyday student needs in their yoga practice. Your business is always appreciated and we at Aurorae yoga look forward to servicing your yoga needs and hopefully making a few new friends along the way.

The other items that I received, I will be reviewing them in a separate post. I never knew that a backpack could have so many features.

This bag is loaded!  The one thing about this bag that I am most excited about is the fact that it has a mat locker system that holds your yoga mat securely. No falling out or flopping around and definitely no carrying it under the arm.  There are also two large compartments that will hold towels, clothing, and yoga blocks. One of the compartments will even fit a 15" laptop! There is a built in cell phone pocket on the wide adjustable strap. Another feature that I like is there is a small zip pocket on the front of the bag for storing your valuables. The front flap pockets comes lined with a special lining for your wet clothing after workout. And last but not least, there is a mesh pocket on the side for your water bottle. This bag is not only great for going to yoga classes or heading to the gym, but would work perfect for hiking and biking.

Be sure and follow Aurorae Yoga on Facebook for all things Yoga. Their website has a complete listing of all the products that they offer and you can purchase products from Amazon.

Namaste
