Looking back at the past eight weeks and my posts, it is hard to believe that I have completed eight weeks of Nutrisystem. Of course, the first few weeks were difficult but as time has passed, it seems to have gotten easier and now being on Nutrisystem has become a positive in my life.
I had a test before me last weekend as my son celebrated his 6th Birthday at Chuck E. Cheese. There was pizza, chocolate birthday cake and vanilla ice cream for the kids and I had ordered a sandwich platter for the adults that were at the party. Surrounded by all of the worst food choices in the world, I did have two small sandwich pieces and I would say the way they were cut, the two pieces I had were less than that of what you would get at Subway with one of their 6 inch subs. I did not have any cake but I did have a 3 ounce cup of vanilla ice cream. Yes, I slipped. I am ashamed that I slipped but I want to be honest and just put it out there that I did slip up.
I know that there are going to be many more instances where I find myself in situations like this one, especially with the holidays coming up. I know that I must remain strong and control what I eat when I am in situations like this one. That is why I know Nutrisystem is going to be there for me. Nutrisystem has some wonderful entrees' and meal choices to help me beat those time when I have the urge to slip up. For the past eight weeks, I have been telling you about some of the food choices that I have. This week is no different. I have found many favorites since I have been on Nutrisystem for the past eight weeks and here is one from this week's menu.

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals and I happen to love bagels. This is the Honey Wheat Bagel and it is so good! Now on to my results for this past week. I really wasn't expecting a loss this week because of the loss that I had last week. I know how my body works and unfortunately when I have a large loss the week before, the next week is nothing.
Starting weight: 182.6
End of Week 1: 176.4
End of Week 2: 174.4
End of Week 3: 172.6
End of Week 4: 172.0
End of Week 5: 172.0
End of Week 6: 172.0
End of Week 7: 169.6
End of Week 8: 169.6
Total Weight Loss: 13.0 pounds
