My weight loss journey has been hit hard by illness in week 5. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu. Yuck! Week 5 has not been a good week for me. I was in the bed with the flu for the entire weekend last week and have been feeling yuck ever since. I have not been able or even felt like working out since last Friday. Pretty much every thing in my entire household came to a screeching halt since I have been sick. I have been trying to catch up on things slowly because I certainly do not want a relapse of what I had last week.
The wonderful thing about Nutrisystem during my illness was that I had access to some wonderful soups to sip on while I was under the weather. The soups certainly did come in handy to pop in the microwave and heat up. The soup that was my go to was old faithful, Chicken Noodle Soup. I had ordered several of these in my order and I was really glad that I did.

The soup was very flavorful, packed with chicken and good wholesome veggies. The noodles were big and warmed my tummy. Definitely a plus to have when you have the flu. Also perfect for those upcoming cold days that are ahead of us.
I already knew before I got on the scale that I was probably going to gain weight because I have not felt like working out this past week. I was really glad when I did weigh that I had not gained but I didn't loose either. So I am standing steady at 172.

End of Week 1: 176.4
End of Week 2: 174.4
End of Week 3: 172.6
End of Week 4: 172.00
End of Week 5: 172.00
Total Weight Loss: 10.6 pounds
I am feeling better but still not 100%. I want to give myself ample time to recover so I am hopeful that I can get back to working out in the next day or so. As I said earlier, I certainly do not want to relapse. Until the next update....Cheers and stay well!
