Reaching Into My Memory Box-Our First Apartment

I have partnered with Apartment Guide as an Official Apartment Guide Blogger. As an Apartment Guide Blog Partner, I will be sharing ideas to make your apartment feel like home.

Looking back at our first apartment, it really wasn't all that bad. It was actually pretty nice, small but nice. We started out in a one bedroom second floor unit, and oh yes, it had a balcony off the bedroom. Of course, the bathroom was hardly big enough to turn around in but it was, after all, "our" first place together. Two things in particular that I do remember about it was that it had gray carpeting and this green ivy wallpaper in the kitchen.  I did the best to decorate and make it our own. I added bar stools the kitchen counter because it wasn't big enough to have a dining room. In our living room, we had a sofa, television cabinet and one chair. I added valances to the windows, lamps, and pictures to make the room more cozy. No matter where you are living, you can always add your own special touches and accessories to make it your own.

  2. I hated my first apartment when I was married. My first college apartment was actually really nice, but I think I could have found better for the same price had I had a service like this.

  9. Our first apartment was odd. When you came in there was the living room and then you had to walk through our bedroom to the kitchen. Talk about strange but we didn't care. We we in love, young, and stupid.
