I revealed to you last week that I had been accepted into the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program and that I was waiting on my food. My pantry food arrived on Thursday and the frozen arrived Friday.
When I saw the boxes, I really hoped that I had made enough room in my freezer and pantry for the food. After putting everything away, I went online to set up my profile in the members section of the website. There are lots of goodies in the member's section like being able to track your food, log your exercise, and water intake. There is also an app for your telephone that connects to your profile in the member's section and you can log from your phone. Talk about convenience! I planned my menu out for the week and headed to the grocery store to pick up fresh fruit and veggies.
My starting day was on Sunday. I have decided that I will be posting my weekly updates on Tuesday so if you are following me on this journey, look for those then. I already feel so much better and today is only Day 3. I have had a chance to try something from each meal group. My first breakfast I had the French Toast and added a link of turkey sausage.
It was really good. Throughout the day, I used my meal planner to add in my snacks and I did not feel hungry at all. Usually, my first day starting a new way of eating, I am really hungry. For the past few days, I have not even wanted to snack or had the urge to snack.
Now onto something that I am completely ashamed of but I am putting it out there mostly for accountability. My weight. OK, here goes. This is what the scale said when I weighed in on Sunday morning.
There it is. Time to move on. I am very excited to be part of Nutrisystem and know that I am going to meet my goal.
