I had been cruising on Pinterest one evening and saw that someone had pinned some products from this website named reuseit.com. So, me being the curious person that I am, decided to check it out. I kind of figured by the name that the website was something that would be eco-friendly so that is really what intrigued me. Many of you know that I recycle everything that I possibly can and I am all about trying to do my share of saving our lovely planet.
Here is a little information about reuseit.com from their website:
"Reuseit.com is a place where you will find our family of "best of the best" reusables available in many categories so you can eliminate disposables from every part of your life -- from bags and bottles to lunch, household items and beyond. By casting a critical eye and delivering facts & solutions, we continue to help guide consumers to the truth and take action on these issues as they evolve."
My children take their lunches to school every day. I have been looking for a reusable system to use in their lunchboxes so that we don't have to deal with the plastic bags and that will keep their food protected from spoilage. Well, I am happy to tell you that I have found it. Reuseit.com gave me the opportunity to review their Bento Boxes and Lunch Boxes.
My daughter chose the Flower Laptop Lunch Bento Carrier, which retails for $19.95 and the Pink and Lavender Laptop Lunch Bento Box, retails for $23.95. From what I had already heard about these lunch boxes, I knew that we were going to love them. And so right we were! For us, this is probably the neatest thing since sliced bread. The Bento Carrier is zippered and insulated for keeping food cool and safe for hours. The exterior of the carrier is completely made of 100% post-consumer recycled material. It has a double handle and shoulder strap for easy carrying.
The Laptop Lunch Bento Box is the star of this show. The Bento Box is modeled after the traditional bento box where the Japanese uses them to pack single portion carry out meals. Included with the Bento Box is three covered containers and two non-covered containers. It all wraps up tightly in the Bento Box itself and snaps closed. The idea behind the Bento Box is to eliminate all of those plastic bags and to cut down on all of those prepackaged foods. Love it! The Bento Box is FDA approved and contains no harmful substances or chemicals that will leak into your child's food. Another good point to make about the Bento Box is that it is proudly made right here in our own country, U.S.A. Yay!
This year, thanks to reuseit.com, we will be able to pack lunches more conscientiously and with healthier selections. Thank you reuseit.com for allowing us the opportunity to review these products.
