Mamavation Monday-Going Back to Archives To Get My Mojo Back

I am going back into my archives for this post for Mamavation Mondays so this is going to be short but sweet.  I wrote back in June about how do you stay motivated to reach your weight loss goals.  I have completely fell off the leader board with my weigh loss goals. As a matter of fact, I am off the chart, way, way off the chart.  I think back to when I lost 60 pounds last year and I was completely driven to loose the weight and now nothing.  I can't seem to find that motivation that was once there.  This is what my analogy is from the June post: "I think that I just plain and simple got lazy, no excuses, there it is.  I got out of the habit of working out and just keep saying every day that I will do it tomorrow."  I know what I need to do and what I have to do, but how do I get the mojo back?  What are some ways that you stay motivated to achieve your health and fitness goals?  I hope that you all have a wonderful week!

Congrats and Good Luck to the Mamavation Mom Finalists: Pepper – (@unicornbeauty); Rachel – (@Rachhabs); Johnna – (@Johnna_r_t); Krista – (@kristalswan); and Tina – (@madhattermom)!

  2. I completely fall hard when I fall off. I just realized that all the hard work I have done from last year has slipped away because I haven't been able to dedicate my mind to wanting it like I used to. I'm finding that taking the time to reflect and attend a few classes has brought back the desire. That and my clothes aren't very flattering 9 lbs heavier. My camera isn't friendly to me, lol.
I know you are going to find your desire and drive again.

  5. I'm working on re-motivating myself right now, one thing that has been working is putting "work out" on my to-do list for the day. I will pull up a pinterest work out on my computer and leave the tab open until I do it!! Good luck girl! If you've done it before, you can do it again!!!

  7. You will get there again! It is HARD, I am kinda on the down side again and trying to get my mojo back as well. Set a goal and reward yourself once you meet it.., I know that once I am down a specific weight,I'm going shopping! LOL. That is a good motivation for me!

  10. The fact that you know you need to do it is big. Grasp that portion of the motivation and keep going! My motivation has been through Mamavation, actually. Seeing everyone else on the same page and dealing with the same struggles really helps! You're going to do so well, and we're here to help you!
