Mamavation Monday



The topic for discussion for Mamavation Monday is are you working too hard?  And no, that does not mean, are you working too hard at your job or at home, it is talking about are  you working too hard on working out. I know sometimes your body does get "immune" to workouts if you are doing the same workout day after day after day.  I like to switch it up and do something different for each workout. Not only do I not get bored with my workouts but my body doesn't get bored.  I try to mix it up, one thing I especially love to do is get out and walk.  Being outside is the best and is good for the mind, too.  What do you do to change up your workouts?

On of my main goals is to get in 10,000 steps a day. That sometimes is really hard for me to accomplish so I feel it is important that I get outside and walk, walk and walk.  I like to take my puppy for walks, but with the heat coming on, we have been having to forgo the walking right lately.  This past week, I didn't even come near getting those 10,000 steps in but I did get some steps in.  Oh, and we have our virtual 5K this weekend.  It is the three year anniversary of Mamavation. Congratulations!  So, I will be walking this 5K and I will be walking it early in the morning because we are suppose to top out at near 100 degrees this weekend. Whew!  I intend to finish it no matter how long it takes me.

Goals this week to increase my water intake and increase my steps per day.  I have been doing good with my eating so I feel like I am ok there and the scale was the same as it was last week.  Hope you all have a wonderful week!
