Mohawk Rug Review and #Giveaway Ends 5/26

I am very excited to be able to tell you about Mohawk Home and their beautiful rugs.  I have known about Mohawk Home for a long time because of their great reputation for flooring and rugs.  Recently, I was given the opportunity to review one their 5' x 8' rugs for my home.  I visited the websites of the retailers that carry Mohawk rugs and it was very difficult to chose one.  I was looking for colors that would match my color theme in my dining area because that is where I will be using the rug.  After browsing through many many choices, I decided on the San Marino in Brown that is sold at Lowe's and retails for $148.00.

When I first put the rug down, my kids and puppy thought for sure that this was going to be for them to play on but much to their surprise, the table and chairs were going back in their place on the rug.

It is amazing how a new rug freshens up a room.  The deep rich brown color in the rug really compliments the colors in my wall hangings in the room.  Also, the blues and greens add warmth to overall look of the dining room.  This rug is very well made with the carpet being really plush and the edges of the rug are bound together in a deep rich brown.
