Udderly Smooth Shea Butter Foot Cream, Moisturizing Lotion, and Udder Cream {Review} #SponsorSpotlight

I recently was given the opportunity to review some products from the folks at Udderly Smooth.  I will try anything that will help my dry skin on my hands and legs.  Oh, and lets not forget my feet.  My heels are so dry and I have  tried so many products on them that we won't even go there.  My hands tend to be the worst because I wash them a ton during the day.

Before I start my review, I would like to tell you a little bit about Udderly Smooth and this history behind the company. Here is an excerpt from the Udderly Smooth website:

Family owned and operated, Redex Industries, has manufactured Udderly Smooth® products for over 30 years. Manufactured in Salem, Ohio, under the direct guidance of Bill Kennedy, CEO and Registered Pharmacist. Originally invented for use on dairy cows and now used for dry and chapped skin.

When my package arrived, I was so anxious to give Udderly Smooth a try. I had seen Udderly Smooth in CVS and Walgreens and my attention was always caught by the cow spots on the packaging but I have never tried it.  For my review, I received the 8 oz. Shea Butter Foot Cream, 16 oz. Moisturizing Lotion in a pump, and the 4 oz. Udder Cream.

The first product that I went for was the Shea Butter Foot Cream.  Being that sandal season is upon us, I want to get my feet in tip top sandal condition. I have used products before that contain Shea Butter and I know that it can really help on dry cracked feet.  I used the foot cream for about a week and within that time frame, I noticed an amazing difference in my feet. My feet were smooth on the bottom and the heel area. Most of my cracks on my heels were gone.  The Udderly Smooth Shea Butter Foot Cream is lightly scented and goes on smooth with no greasy after feeling.  The Udderly Smooth Shea Butter Foot Cream won the Woman's Day Best in Beauty in 2005.

Next to be tried was the Moisturizing Lotion.  I thought this would be an excellent product for my legs. When I got out of the shower, I lightly dried my legs off and applied the Moisturizing Lotion. As with the Foot Cream, this has a light and fresh scent to it.  It was like my legs were doing a  happy dance because the instant the cream went on, I felt the stingyness of dry skin go away and my legs felt refreshed.  The Moisturzing Lotion did not feel greasy as some of the other well known brands do.  This lotion is definitely going to be my go to everyday lotion.

Last but not least, and the product that started the Udderly Smooth product line, is the original formula Udder Cream. The Udder Cream was originally developed for the use on cow's udders.  How interesting is that?  I love it!  The Udder Cream seemed perfect to use on my hands. I wash my hands a bunch of times during the day and with our water the way it is, my hands become cracked and almost unbearable.  I kept the Udder Cream near the sink in my kitchen so that I could put some on after each wash.  After using the Utter Cream for more than a week, my hands are no longer cracked and chapped.  The Utter Cream didn't feel greasy going on and soaked into my skin very nicely.  After a few days of use, I noticed that I didn't need to apply the cream after every hand wash.

I was very impressed by the results that I got from the products of Udderly Smooth.  My skin overall feels much better and I don't have that tight feeling on my legs and hands anymore.  Thank you Udderly Smooth for providing these products for this review.  If you would like to purchase any of the products that I have talked about in my review, you can visit the Udderly Smooth website to buy them, or there is a product locator button there as well, where you can find the nearest local retailer.  Some of the larger stores that carry these products are CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and Rite-Aid.  You can also connect with Udderly Smooth on their Facebook page and Twitter, too!

The wonderful folks at Udderly Smooth have generously offered to giveaway a set of the same products that I received to one of my readers.  But here's the catch, these products are being featured in the Makobi Scribe Mother's Day Giveaway Hop.  You will need to come back on May 1st for your chance to win an Udderly Smooth Prize Pack.
