Fresh Wave Product Review and #Giveaway Ends 4/22

I recently was given the opportunity to review three products made by Fresh Wave. The folks at Fresh Wave sent me their Pet Shampoo, Home Spray, and Crystal Gel.  Let's take a look at the company before we get into the products.  While visiting the Fresh Wave website, I learned that Fresh Wave believes that "The molecule is mightier than the odor." Fresh Wave incorporates the use of natural ingredients in their products such as extracts of lime, pine needle, aniseed, clove and cedarwood.  These products combined get straight to the source of the odor. What a great philosophy! The most important point about Fresh Wave products is that they use no toxins which makes it safe around children and pets. And that is a super huge plus in my home. Here is another plus about Fresh Wave, these products are made  in the USA.

The first product that I reviewed was the 16 ounce Crystal Gel which retails for $14.99.  I wanted to be able to utilize this product in just the right spot so I thought about it for a day or so and finally decided that I wanted to use in my laundry room. You ask, why the laundry room?  Well, I keep my kitty litter box in there and for all you cat owners you know how that can get.  I sat the Crystal Gel on the shelf above my washer and dryer and waited for the results. When my kitty decided to have a litter box break, I went in the laundry room and was pleasantly surprised that there appeared to be little or no odor left. The crystals had absorbed the odor.  The Crystal Gel works quickly and very effectively on eliminating those strong odors. I have used many different brands of other air fresheners and I feel like they only "mask" the odors, they do not actually absorb the odor and leave the air smelling fresh.  I have noticed a huge difference in the way my laundry room smells after using the product over the last week.  Another tidbit of information about Fresh Wave Crystal Gel, is that it recently won the iParent Award!

The next product that I decided to try out was the Home Spray.  The Home Spray comes in an 8 ounce spray and retails for $9.99.  My husband is the world's worst about putting the packages that raw chicken comes in, into the trash can in our kitchen, when he cooks. He also on this particular day, put some of the chicken clippings in the trash can along with the chicken packaging.  The next day, you can imagine what that smell was like. I kept asking my children if they smelled it and they said "Yes, but what is it?"  I'm thinking to myself, what can it be?  Finally, I realized where the smell was coming from and what it was.  Whew!  What a stink!  This was the perfect time to use the Home Spray because at that point the entire house was smelling.  I got the Home Spray out and sprayed around the trash can, kitchen and pretty much the entire house, and yes, I took that foul smelling trash bag to the big garbage container.  After spraying, I began to smell the fresh smell of pine and cedarwood.  About an hour after the spray, the foul odors were completely gone.  Boom!  My husband came home from work and asked me if I had been cleaning all day with some sort of pine product. My new best kept secret!

As some of you may know, we adopted a puppy just before Christmas. Gwen is a five month old 30 pound Chow Chow mix.  And Gwen loves the outdoors! She is quite the seasoned digger in our backyard these days. Those of you that have dogs know that dogs do acquire that "doggy smell" even though we try very hard to keep them bathed every week.  When I received the Pet Shampoo in my review package, I was so anxious to try this product on her.  The Pet Shampoo comes in 16 ounces and retails for $13.99.  After giving Gwen a thorough bath with the Pet Shampoo, she was smelling like a rose (so to speak). I was very pleased at the pleasant smell and felt confident using this product on her because of its ingredients. Her coat was very shiny and felt really clean.  This product has all of the same ingredients that all Fresh Wave products have.

I was very pleased with the Fresh Wave product line that I was sent to review and do highly recommend their product line.  Not only do they have these products, but they have soy candles, a line dedicated to babies, and many other products.
